The US Food and Drug Administration on Thursday said it has completed the process of approving the erectile dysfunction medication Viagra.

Viagra has been available for nearly a decade, but it’s been a subject of controversy because it has caused headaches, dizziness, and fatigue.
Viagra is a prescription-only drug that is widely used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, but it has also been linked to a dangerous side effect known as Priapism, which can cause permanent damage to the penis.
In 2014, the FDA approved Viagra, the brand name for the drug, for use in men with a history of heart problems, including heart failure.
“The FDA should have approved Viagra to treat the condition but they did not,” said Dr. William Shaughnessy, an assistant professor of medicine at Johns Hopkins University. “There are also other drugs approved for this purpose, including non-Sildenafil compounds. The FDA should have approved the medication for erectile dysfunction but it has not shown that it is safe or effective for this use.”
Viagra, which was approved by the FDA in 2003, is sold as a tablet that contains the same active ingredient as the pill and is available as a generic.
A separate regulatory review found that the pill works by relaxing the smooth muscles of the penis, allowing blood to flow into the penis and cause an erection.
The FDA approved Viagra in 1998 for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It was later approved for other uses, such as the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Viagra was developed by Pfizer, and it has become the second-biggest drug ever prescribed for erectile dysfunction, behind Viagra. Viagra has been used since 1998, when it was approved for over-the-counter treatment of erectile dysfunction.
In 1998, the drug’s manufacturer, Bayer, made Viagra available to men only for men who had erectile dysfunction.

The FDA approved Viagra in 2004 for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and for pulmonary arterial hypertension, a condition characterized by high blood pressure in the arteries that supply the lungs.
In 2014, the FDA approved Viagra for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. The FDA had also approved it for pulmonary arterial hypertension, which affects millions of men worldwide. The medication is also approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
The FDA has not approved Viagra for use in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, which is caused by a blockage in the blood vessels in the lungs.
In 2018, Pfizer voluntarily added Viagra to its erectile dysfunction treatment line, and it was approved for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension. Viagra has also been approved for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Viagra is the brand name for the drug sildenafil, which is a phosphodiesterase type-5 inhibitor that works by relaxing blood vessels in the penis and allowing more blood to flow into the penis during sexual stimulation. The drug has been available for the treatment of erectile dysfunction since 1998.
